Kent
was born in Los Angeles, California and has maintained his residency in Newport
Beach, California. Kent's longstanding business success comes from his diversity
in several unrelated businesses over the last thirty years. His well rounded business
acumen has founded several successful businesses from McJaf industries in 1986,
which was one of the first U.S. companies to successfully manufacture consumer
products in mainland China, to his current occupation as a residential and commercial
real estate developer in California. Currently, Kent's portfolio includes several
multi-million dollar real estate partnerships as the developer and managing member.
These partnerships include residential, commercial and industrial developments
throughout Southern California. Now entering into Hawaii, a new development
team has been assembled under the company banner of "Commercial Investments
of Hawaii". The development team members are the best individuals in their
respective fields ensuring the new Development Company's successful growth in
Hawaii. The only criteria in selecting the development team was "nothing
but the best" says McNaughton. We want people who know Hawaii and respect
the co-existence of commercial development with the Hawaiian culture.
Kent
has been a home owner on Maui, Hawaii for over thirty years. He has seen a shortage of commercial and industrial development, which is necessary to support the fast growing economies of Hawaii.
"My
development projects, says McNaughton, are small low-impact developments in already
established commercial/industrial business parks. I will only provide the highest quality product for the Hawaiian workforce. No residential, hotel, or time-share projects will ever be developed
by McNaughton. Again, low impact environmentally friendly developments are the
criteria for McNaughton's developments in Hawaii. We are a friend of Hawaii and
want to become a long lasting partner in the future development needs of the islands.
There is a need for high quality environmentally friendly commercial and industrial
developments and I am in hopes that the Hawaiian people and the Hawaiian economy
will embrace our projects throughout the years to come."
